Travel and Activities

Las Vegas, Nevada

Travel

Las Vegas is adjacent to McCarran International Airport (LAS), one of the largest airports in North America. There should be a wide choice of flights for all guests. The Strip - home to the majority of the large Casinos and Hotels - is about a 5 minute drive from the airport.

Vegas is accessible by car from most places in the U.S. Southwest. It’s about 4-5 hours from Los Angeles, 9 hours from San Francisco, and 6 hours from Salt Lake City. Depending on your plans having a car to bring more people, explore the area, or make your attendance part of a bigger journey may be the right decision for you.

Activities in the Las Vegas Area

Las Vegas - A Playground for Everyone

Las Vegas and its surrounding areas are famous for offering opportunities for fun, relaxation, and adventure. Whether it’s your first or hundredth time visiting the area, we highly encourage you to take this opportunity to make use of the wonderful and unique experiences Las Vegas has to offer.

For those who enjoy cities and nightlife, The city of Las Vegas itself is infamous for its array of exciting activities. Know as “Sin City”, it offers world class options for dining, shows, shopping, nightclubs, gambling, and entertainment.

For those who appreciate the outdoors and natural beauty of the area, Las Vegas has just as much to offer. A few hours drive or helicopter flight away is the Grand Canyon, one of the world’s most incredible natural features. We highly recommend the North Rim for its raw, jaw-dropping beauty. Close to the city itself, you can explore the Red Rock Canyon National Forest and the Mojave Desert beyond it.

EAT & DRINK

Whether you’re dining on the Strip or far away from it, in the mood to blow obscene amounts of money or looking for a quick and affordable meal, our dining guide will serve as a shining beacon, like the light on top of Luxor. We scoured the city for the best places to eat, drink, and then eat and drink some more. Because while you’re visiting Vegas, you know to abide by the maxim, “Everything in moderation, including moderation.”

PLAY

Las Vegas might boast a reputation for round-the-clock partying and dazzling casinos, but Sin City has far more to offer than simply hangovers and roulette!

If you’re hunting for fun things to do in Las Vegas, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Take a day trip to hike the Grand Canyon, feel the thrills on the Stratosphere, see incredible shows, sit back and relax in the luxury resorts, eat at Michelin-starred restaurants, and so much more!
